Since 1969, Summit Appliance has been manufacturing and distributing specialty major appliances to the residential, professional, commercial, hospitality, and scientific markets. Through our Summit® division, Summit Appliance manufacture the industry"s largest collection of undercounter and ADA compliant refrigeration products, as well as a large selection of outdoor appliances, cooking appliances, and more. 

Summit Appliance was founded in 1969 and has been a leading supplier of specialty, professional, commercial, and medical refrigerators and freezers, as well as cooking appliances ever since. In our first year, Summit Appliance trademarked the Summit Appliance® brand name and began our distribution in Long Island City, New York. In 1983, needing additional room for expansion, we moved our headquarters and operations to the Bronx. In 1998 Summit Appliance purchased our current HQ building in the Bronx, where our manufacturing, operations, back office, and distribution are all located. Our products now include a wide range of major appliances sold both nationally and internationally and delivered to the Northeastern United States using Summit Appliance trucks. Summit Appliance achieved ISO 9001:2015 for its quality management and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation for its Accucold calibration laboratory. Despite our expansion, Summit Appliance is still privately owned, and managed by the founding family, with a group of veteran and new industry professionals.
